One Man Hauled a 4,500-Square-Foot Home Across North Dakota

Drivers in North Dakota got quite the surprise this week as a five-bedroom brick home was driven 13 miles across the state, from Fargo to Horace. Scott Adelman bought the 218-ton house for just $70,000, but that discounted price came with quite the catch: The entire 4,500-square-foot structure had to be moved from its original location, reports the New York Daily News.

Adelman enlisted four different removal companies and a 23-axel truck to help drive the house to its new location in Horace. The complicated move required several permits and took two days to complete. And now, Adelman hopes to have the house move-in ready in just five weeks so he can flip it for $700,000 — that’s 10 times more than what he originally paid!
