This Grain Silo Is Now a Cozy House
Say “hello” to one of the most distinctive houses we’ve ever seen: The Grain Silo Tiny House, a one-bedroom, loft apartment with a country-style front porch.
Sitting on the property of the Gruene Homestead Inn in New Braunfels, Texas, the small abode was formerly a 1940s grain silo. But now, the interior features a staircase leading to a room with a king bed, a tiny kitchen with a microwave and refrigerator, and a stand-up shower.
It can accommodate two adults and rates start at $175 a night. And though it might be tiny, the novelty of sleeping in a grain silo is an idea too charming to resist.
